Ifigenia en Tracia: A Spanish Zarzuela

A tragi-comic opera set in the ancient city of Troy, presented with all the panoply and splendor, dance and humor it would have enjoyed in Madrid’s newly rebuilt Corral de la Cruz in 1747.

José de Nebra’s ultimate zarzuela with returning Mexican sopranos Carla Lopez Speziale and Eugenia Ramirez, Anna Fredericka Popova, and Spanish dancer/ choreographer Jaime Puente.

  • Stage Direction: Gustavo Tambascio
  • Music Director: Grover Wilkins.
