El Carpeta y La Farruca: Así Mismo 2024 US Tour in Dallas

El Carpeta and La Farruca, both members of the esteemed Farruco family, are embarking on a U.S. tour to present their latest flamenco show, “Así Mismo.”

La Farruca is known for her elegant and commanding stage presence, which embodies the traditional spirit of Flamenco. Her son, El Carpeta, contributes a dynamic and passionate energy to the performance. Together, they offer a two-hour experience that showcases the rich cultural heritage of their Gypsy roots.

El Carpeta is a young Gitano dancer from Seville, Spain, emerging from one of the most famous flamenco families. He is the grandson of Farruco, the son of La Farruca, and the brother of Farruquito and El Farro.

By the age of ten, he was already performing on stage, showcasing remarkable talent that highlighted his potential as the youngest member of this renowned lineage. He is dedicated to developing a unique style.

He has performed on stages across Spain and in major cities, including Manhattan, San Francisco, Washington, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Bogotá. El Carpeta frequently collaborates with internationally acclaimed artists like Miguel Poveda and Estrella Morente.

La Farruca

La Farruca first took the stage at thirteen, performing alongside the legendary Camarón de La Isla in Camas, with Sabicas accompanying her dance in Los Angeles. She has starred in numerous international shows with prominent flamenco figures, including productions featuring Farruquito and his family. Her performances in the United States, particularly in shows like Gitanas and De Farruca a Faraona, have received critical acclaim.
