Lecture and acoustic concert with Juan Perro

Santiago Auserón will talk about the ethnical fusion tradition in Spanish music.

Santiago Auserón, alias Juan Perro, former lead singer of Radio Futura and one of the most eminent names within Spanish rock of the 1980s, was the pioneer in spreading the roots of son cubano in Europe. He will present, along with master guitarist Joan Vinyals, part of his recent book, The lost rhythm.

The evening will include a conference and an acoustic concert where Auserón will talk about the ethnical fusion tradition in Spanish music. He will play a selection of songs from his latest albums.

Conference and concert and 7:30 pm. Opening reception of Spanish Caravan Music Festival 2014 and after party with DJ Soulphonetics, from 9 pm to 10:30 pm. Spanish food, cava and beer will be served.
