Sueño Flamenco at South Broadway Cultural Center

AMFlamenco Dance Company presents its latest show, “Sueño Flamenco,” featuring guest artists Patricia Nuñez “La Tiranta” and Ricardo Díaz.

AMFlamenco Danza, founded in 2009 in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain) by Adriana Maresma Fois, creates a night of soulful flamenco artistry with Sueño Flamenco. This show highlights innovative and tradition styles such as alegrías, bulerías, and taranto.

Singer Patricia Nuñez “La Tiranta” was born in Córdoba, Spain, in 1987. She inherited her passion for singing from her musical family background, particularly her mother. She studied sculpture in the Academy of the Arts in Córdoba and from an early age worked with different musicians and artists from her city, such as Rafael Trenas Jr, Álvaro Vizcaíno, Xavier de la Torre and others. She later moved to Granada where she studied musical production and started her career. She has taken part in the Ensemble Español tours in the U.S. She sings regularly at different venues in Chicago, such as Bordel and Bulerías. She has performed with Pol Vaquero, Carmela Greco and Maria Vega, among other notables.
