A celebration of 25 years of Yjastros: The American Flamenco Repertory Company, “Plata” features choreography by Joaquín Encinias and guest artists, blending traditional flamenco with contemporary influences.

The 35th Annual Festival Flamenco Albuquerque will run June 11-18, 2022 in multiple venues in the city such as The Journal Theatre, Rodey Theatre and The X Theater inside the UNM, and Tablao Flamenco Albuquerque.

The XXIII edition of “PHotoESPAÑA,” which started in 2020 with a call for photos of the Spanish lockdown and with open-air exhibitions in 50 Spanish cities, is now moving to Albuquerque.

In its 32nd edition and with the goal of preserving and promoting Flamenco’s artistry, history, and culture, this Festival brings the finest Flamenco artists to Albuquerque.

This festival features a week of films, music, food, exhibits, and lectures highlighting the extraordinary journey of the Jewish people to Spanish-speaking countries.

The exhibition tells a rich story of cultures settling in Spain and bringing the best and most innovative elements of their heritage to the Iberian Peninsula and the Spanish colonies.

With the mission of preserving and promoting Flamenco’s artistry, history, and culture among both national and international communities, this Festival brings the finest Flamenco artists to Albuquerque.

“The Prado in Albuquerque” features 92 high-quality reproductions from El Prado Museum at Civic Plaza.
