'Ink Spills in Cursive' by Jason Garcia Ignacio

An intersection of visual art and dance based on the poem The Little Mute Boy by Federico Garcia Lorca with an original score by DIGITAL 21.

Jason Garcia Ignacio will perform his choreography Ink Spilled In Cursive at the Annual Dance Bethesda Concert at the Round House Theater. The dance is an intersection of visual art and dance that was based on the poem The Little Mute Boy by Federico Garcia Lorca with an original score by DIGITAL 21-Miguel Lopez Mora of Madrid, Spain. It is about the journey of a man who struggled to be heard and aimed to make a difference in the world. He found a way to transform his inability to express himself into something tangible and something he could wear to embrace his own individuality.

Ink Spilled In Cursive is being performed as part of the company's NEXT: SPAIN series. Buy tickets and view video.
