With En Acustico, Spanish singer Pablo Alborán has become much more than a best newcomer artist. He has stayed 17 weeks at Number 1 in the Spanish charts with seven Platinum Discs. He is the best-selling artist in Spain in 2011, and his song Solamente Tú was the biggest-selling track last year; he received three nominations to the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards (Best New Artist, Best Male Pop Vocal Album, and Best Song); he has won the 40 Principales Best New Artist Award.

En Acústico is also Number 1 in Portugal having reached Platinum certificate, same as his first single Perdóname (featuring a duet with Portuguese artist Carminho).
