From Barcelona: Contemporary Architecture

A view of the newest architecture and architects leading Barcelona as a city of reference for architecture around the world.

The architects Esteve Solà Saura and Núria Casquero Modrego walk us through the last 15 years of Spanish Architecture.

They focus on Barcelona to study the relationship between public and private buildings designed during the last decade with a social and urban approach.

  1. Thursday, November 1st (6-8 pm): Presentation will focus on urbanism, neighborhoods, and the Barcelona’s master plan.
  2. Thursday, November 8th (6-8pm): Presentation will focus on specific projects in Barcelona including (but not limited to) Mercat de la Barceloneta (Josep Miàs, 2007) and Hotel OMM (Juli Capella y Miquel Garcia, 2003).
