As part of its 15th International Festival of Hispanic Theater, Teatro de la Luna presents Escena Miriñaque’s performance Cartas de las Golondrinas.

Teatro de la Luna presents its 15th Annual International Festival of Hispanic Theater at the Gunston Arts Center.

This year's line-up includes seven theater companies from six different countries, including Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Spain, the United States and Venezuela. This one-of-a-kind theatrical event includes plays like Palabras Encadenadas (Killing Words), Cartas de las Golondrinas (Letters from the Swallows), Agüita de Viejas (Fragrances From the Past) and many more.

From Santander, Spain. Written and directed by Blanca del Barrio. With Noelia Fernández and Esther Aja. Dramatic Comedy. U.S. Première. Ages: 13+
Synopsis: Fragments, personal stories that speak of hope, of opportunity, of nostalgia, of identity. At the beginning of the 20th Century, with the hope for a better future, they uprooted themselves from their lands; they were the enterprising and reckless Spaniards in the Americas. And today, history repeats itself in this infinite, circular journey.
