André & Dorine

André & Dorine

Kulunka Theatre Company presents a stunning mask theater performance.

This theater play portrays a beautiful love story between André and Dorine, a singular elderly couple who, like many others, has fallen into neglect caused by the routine. What used to awaken the passion of one another today has become indifferent or even controversial.

But an event is to break the monotony, of memory, of identity itself. And so begins a fresh start in the relationship between André y Dorine. A journey through memory, and hence the desire to retain it and materialize it somehow, in the only way that Andre can possibly do: writing. Remembering who they are in order to not forget who they are now. Alzheimer makes them rediscover love.

Directed by Iñaqui Rikarte. Tickets: $17. André & Dorine U.S. Tour's next stops are New York and Los Angeles.
