Fernando Savater, the Spanish writer and philosopher widely known for his Ética para Amador and other prolific works, is the author of Filoctetes: Un Drama de Mar y Guerra. In this work, Savater revisits the Sophocles' masterpiece making it relevant for the present times and adding a comical twist.
The dramatized reading of this play will be directed by Repertorio Español's founder, René Buch, followed by a Q&A with Fernando Savater. In Spanish. Free admission.
