SICELE: Congress on research and innovation in Spanish as a second language

This International Congress focuses on Spanish in the globalized world and new developments in teaching, acquisition and evaluation of L2 Spanish.

This International Congress addresses the situation of Spanish in the globalized world, as well as new developments in teaching, acquisition and evaluation of Spanish as a second or foreign language.

Prominent figures as Dr. Humberto López Morales, Dr. Amparo Morales, Dr. Leonor Acuña, Dr. José Gómez Asencio and Dr. Bill VanPatten will be in charge of the plenary sessions. They will be joined by other scholars, professors and students affiliated with over 50 Academic Institutions, including the Instituto Cervantes, from Central and South America, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, China, United States and Puerto Rico.

This congress is of great importance to the local and international SLL research and teaching community, as well as to anyone interested in the expansion and validation of Spanish as an international language in the era of globalization.
