'Catalan Sounds' on Tour at the 2012 South by Southwest Festival
Catalan bands Muchachito Bombo Inferno, Mujeres, Seward, The Suicide of Western Culture, Furguson, L.A. and ZA! play at the 2012 SXSW Festival, supported by Institut Ramon Llull.
After celebrating 25 years as the world's leading music industry event, the SXSW® Music and Media Conference is back to continue the tradition in 2012. Reaching a quarter of a century of being the biggest and most anticipated convergence of all things music, SXSW is ready to keep the reputation alive by programming an even better event each year.
Catalan Sounds is an initiative of the Institut Ramon Llull aimed at bringing the different music styles of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands to international audiences. The idea is to invite some of our renowned music groups to appear on the program of the world's leading music festivals.
