Video Art Workshop: Spanish Influences on the Life and Work of Bill Viola

Interactive workshop focused on the life and work of Bill Viola, one of the world’s most renowned video artists.

Viola on Video is the first full-length biography of the American video artist Bill Viola (New York, 1951). It contains, aside from a critical examination of his artistic stages, the first catalog of his work and is published by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid.

This presentation will include an audiovisual and interactive video art workshop by the author, Federico Utrera. The workshop will consist of audiovisual, musical and literary exercises related to the work of Viola. Participation is limited to fifteen students. Workshop in Spanish.
