'Artists Talks': Yuri Possokhov in Conversation with Glen Carman

The Instituto Cervantes is once again pleased to offer the Artists Talk Series, a lecture series during which you will have the opportunity to meet dancers, visiting choreographers and musicians who are currently performing in Chicago.

Russian choreographer Yuri Possokhov will present a special preview of his fresh interpretation of the enduring Cervantes classic.

In an intimate roundtable discussion, Mr. Possokhov will discuss with a local dance critic the universal themes of Don Quixote and his unique approach to the choreography of the ballet. The roundtable will be moderated by acclaimed Cervantes scholar and DePaul University professor, Glen Carman.

Don't miss The Joffrey Ballet: 'Don Quixote' at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University from Oct. 12-23.
