Concert by Amancio Prada

Guitarist, vocalist, and composer Amancio Prada will perform an evening of songs inspired by the work of Spanish dramatist and writer Garcia Lorca.

This year, the Ministry of Culture awarded Amancio Prada with the Gold Merit Medal for Fine Arts 2010, due to his remarkable work in the music field.

Prada has said he is on a permanent search for emotion and beauty in the music he composes. Critics and audiences alike would tell you he has already found both in his soulful settings of classic and contemporary poetry. His is the heart and soul of a true troubadour, binding words and music together to communicate the full range of human emotions.
