In light of the release of the “Illustrating Spain in the US” episode on Spanish immigrants in the United States, the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington has partnered with the Basque Culinary Center to celebrate some of the flavors that these immigrants may have longed for.

Curated by Carlos Ortega, “RobotiX” highlights the synergies Argentinean artist Cristian Castro creates between art, technology and robots.

“Transformando lo Físico” invites 12 Spanish creators to come up with 12 different artistic proposals for the façade of our building that will be shown monthly in the garden, allowing a dialog between the building and its representation.

Spanish illustrator Adolfo Serra explores the concept of the First Circumnavigation of the World in this second intervention on the windows of the Former Residence of the Ambassadors of Spain in Washington, D.C.

The third edition of “Not Your Regular Wall” hosts Spanish muralist Axel Void as a guest of honor this year.

“The Great Conspiracy” is an online exhibition of experimentation with distanced artworks, using internet communication and other distribution possibilities, but without flowing through a conventional exhibition space.

As a summary of the exhibition “Recovered Memories. Spain and the Support for the American Revolution,” this permanent showcase features documents, reproductions of uniforms, drawings, illustrations, maps and miniatures.
