Events starting in April 2021

The XXIII edition of “PHotoESPAÑA,” which started in 2020 with a call for photos of the Spanish lockdown and with open-air exhibitions in 50 Spanish cities, is now moving to Albuquerque.

Diversifying The Classics places the Public Theater’s new bilingual version of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” in conversation with Lope de Vega’s “Castelvines y Monteses,” in a brand new English translation by Dakin Matthews.

Curators Corey Piper (Chrysler Museum of Art), Brandon Ruud (Milwaukee Art Museum), and Clara Marcellán (Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza) explore the intersections of Spanish and American art in both countries’ museums.

“Transformando lo Físico” invites 12 Spanish creators to come up with 12 different artistic proposals for the façade of our building that will be shown monthly in the garden, allowing a dialog between the building and its representation.

Curated by Carlos Ortega, “RobotiX” highlights the synergies Argentinean artist Cristian Castro creates between art, technology and robots.

“REFLECTOR” presents a live set by TUTU and Masha Mar highlighting the connections between Spanish and American electronic scenes.
