Spotlight on Contemporary Spanish Theater

Supporting and producing Contemporary Spanish theater in English and Spanish:

  • Fostering and creating new opportunities to promote Spanish contemporary dramaturgy
  • Boosting new productions of plays in English by Spanish playwrights in the US
  • Encouraging the translation of Spanish contemporary plays
  • Supporting the participation of Spanish theater professionals in US theater companies
  • Introducing Spanish directors and theater companies to US audiences

Classical Spanish Theater

Supporting Spanish Golden Age theater:

  • Promoting an expanded vision of the Spanish Golden Age
  • Encouraging new adapted translations of classical Spanish plays
  • Boosting new professional opportunities for US actors to acquire skills and knowledge to understand and perform classical Spanish texts
