Festival de la Palabra 2014
Spanish writers Rosa Montero, Javier Cercas, Marta Sanz, Cristina Fallarás and Concha Buika will participate in the 5th edition of ‘Festival de la Palabra.’
The literature festival is a worldwide encounter between writers and readers who celebrate the written word from multiple perspectives. Now on its 5th edition, an array of international writers will discuss their work around the figure of Julia de Burgos and women’s role in the transformation of 20th and 21th centuries literature with the participation of acclaimed authors from Spain like Rosa Montero, Javier Cercas, Marta Sanz, Cristina Fallarás and Concha Buika, who comes to present her first book of poetry.
The Festival of the Word (Festival de la palabra) brings readers and writers together in a series of readings, lectures, and workshops to promote the exchange of literature and ideas.
