Visuality 3: Exploring the visual part of music

A multimedia concert that connects chamber music with theatre, dance, and video mapping techniques.

Cre.Art Project will present this multimedia concert collaborating with seasoned local musicians, dancers, and visual artists and using video mapping projections techniques to transform the concert hall into a canvas for a unique performance.

This concert is designed by director and flutist Guillermo Laporta, and includes cellist Yves Dharamraj, pianist Josefina Urraca, violist Nathan Schram, dancer and choreographer Morgelyn Tenbeth-Ward and actor Rick Cekovsky, with special guest JP Jofre.

Founded in 2006 by musicians Guillermo Laporta and Tagore Gonzalez, Cre.Art Project operates under the idea of multidisciplinary interaction. The collective aims to produce shows that connects chamber music with theatre, dance, and the audiovisual to evoke a total sensory experience.

From its origins in Madrid, Cre.Art Project has appeared at leading venues and festivals across Europe, receiving critical acclaim and garnering top prizes at the Injuve 08 Chamber Music Competition in Madrid, the 2007 Montehermoso Contemporary Creation Award, and the 2010 Promete Foundation Talent Award with big productions like Marcos Fernandez’s chamber opera Noctum.
