Spanish artists at SummerStage Festival 2016

Joan Català

A curious observer interested in the plastic and movement arts in which the body and/or the objects are communicators, Joan Català understands the scene as a space for dialogue between humans, objects and the environment where game and work melt together with the tools, experiences and ideas that each of us bring. In 2012, Joan started to develop his own perspective around scenic arts focused on street and urban landscapes. The result is the show PELAT, premiered at Fira de Tàrrega in 2013.

Iron Skulls

Iron Skulls is a experimental dance company from Barcelona founded in 2012 with b-boying group Iron Skulls Crew. Composed by dancers from Spain, Iron Skulls identified their personal style and desire to investigate the boundaries of movement. Their members engage in disciplines such as martial arts, contemporary dance, urban dance, hip-hop, musical production, design, and fashion, giving them tools to develop their own style.
