Poetry reading and discussion by poet, author and former Minister of Culture of Spain César Antonio Molina at Instituto Cervantes New York.

César Antonio Molina, poet, author, former Ministrer of Culture of Spain and Director of the Instituto Cervantes, and current Director of La Casa del Lector will visit University of Maryland, Georgetown University, and the Instituto Cervantes New York to present his book Selected Poems of Cesar Antonio Molina, published by University of Texas Pan American Press. This bilingual volume represents the first publication of his poetry in English.

Molina will read some of his poems, followed by a moderated discussion with Dr. Glenn Martinez, Chair and Professor of Modern Languages and Literature at The University of Texas-Pan American, Dr. Douglas Laprade, Professor of English at The University of Texas-Pan American and Tony Reyna, Events Coordinator for UTPA Press.

This event is free and open to the public. Copies of the book will be on sale prior to the event. Discussion in Spanish with simultaneous translation.
